Packing up an interesting and tasty lunch for your children’s lunchboxes can be sometimes be difficult. Between fussy eaters, school dietary rules and just keeping it interesting for the little ones – we could all use a little inspiration now and again. So here are some of my favourite lunchbox snacks and treats that will keep the kids happy and fed!

Baby Banana Breads

Everyone loves Banana Bread, and these Baby Banana Breads are the perfect size for a mid morning snack. Made with real bananas and easy to eat, they are great for lunchboxes and way better than any store-bought alternative.

These are also easy to make in a bulk batches. Simply wrap them up individually in cling wrap and keep them in the freezer until needed. They only take a little while to defrost, so you can sling them into lunchboxes frozen, and they’ll be defrosted and ready to eat by recess.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

These classic muffins are easy to bake and always popular. You can bake them in bulk and freeze them individually in zip lock bags, then take them out as required. But beware, these babies are so popular, they might not make it to the lunchboxes!
