Perfect for serving at parties or on Movie Night, this warm Cheese and Bacon Dip is served in a crusty loaf of bread fashioned into an edible serving bowl! Featuring cream cheese, sour cream, bacon, onions and garlic, this tasty dip is alway a hit with crowds, plus the bowl is edible leaving minimal cleanup afterwards – give it a go!
INGREDIENTS:
1 Large Crusty Loaf of Bread (I used a Sourdough Cob Loaf)
250g of Diced Bacon
1 Small Brown Onion (diced)
3 Spring Onions (chopped)
250g of Philadelphia Style Cream Cheese
300g of Sour Cream
250 g of Grated Cheese (I used Cheddar)
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Pepper
1 Tablespoon of Butter (melted)
Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
Baking Time: About 25 minutes (or until dip is hot and bubbling and bread is toasted)
SERVES 10 – 12 AS A SHARABLE SNACK
